Ehlers-Danlos syndrome
An inherited disorder of the elastic connective tissue characterised by hypereleasticity of the skin, hypermobility of the joints due to extremely lax ligaments and tendons, poor wound healing, and cardiac defects.

Sack-Barabas syndrome
A disturbance marked by early appearance of thin, translucent skin, bowel, uteru, easy bruising, characteristic facial appearance, recurrent abdominal pain and eventual intestinal perforation, uterine rupture in pregnancy.





Biography:
Andras P. Barabas is a vascular surgeon in Suffolk, England. He was born in Hungary and attended the medical school in Budapest 1953-1956. In 1956 he took part in the Hungarian Revolution against Russia and Communism and then came to England as a refugee and joined the Manchester Medical School.
