Ian Bruce Sneddon
British dermatologist, born 1915; died 1987.

Biography:
Ian Bruce Sneddonwas one of the foremost British dermatologists of the 20th century. He was dermatologist to the Royal Navy during World War II and subsequently was consultant at Sheffield. For 18 years he was the doyen – Clinical Dean – of his university. He was president of the British Association of Dermatologists in 1970.
Sneddon authored more than 100 publications, many of them on the psychiatric aspects of dermatology.
