Biography of Arthur Morris Master

Arthur Morris Master graduated from Cornell University in 1921. He subsequently trained at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York and worked with the famous physiologist and cardiologist Sir Thomas Lewis (1881–1945) at University College Hospital, London. After his return to the United States he became head of cardiology at Mt. Sinai. During the Second World War he served with the U.S Navy in the Solomon Islands.
