A variant of Münchhausen’s syndrome.
Münchhausen's syndrome
A type of malingering or factitious disorder in which the patient, usually a vagrant, wander from hospital to hospital, feigning severe illness of dramatic and emergency nature in order to be admitted.
Biography:
Ahasverus, shoemaker of Jerusalem, the «eternal Jew» who was condemned to restlesss wandering around the world without being allowed to die – to Judgment Day - as punishment for having shown Jesus away from his door. He's sort of a medieval Ancient Mariner or Flying Dutchman.
