French dermatologist, born 1866, Paris; died late 1926.

A skin disorder characterized by formation of sterile pustules surrounded by a hyperaemic base on the axillae, scalp, groin, genitalia, lips, and oral mucosa.
Biography:
Émile Leredde studied in Paris and received his doctorate there in 1893. His scientific work concerns dermatology (semiology and prognosis of eosinophilia in dermatoses), syphilology and social medicine. He was an outstanding clinician.
