Paul Courmont
French physician, Born November 10, 1871, Lyon.

Biography:
Paul Courmont studied in Lyon and received his medical doctorate there in 1897. From 1897 to 1899 he was active in clinical work and from 1907 to 1928 he was physician to the Lyon hospitals. He was habilitated in 1901 and in 1909 was appointed professor of general pathology, in 1911 professor of experimental medicine, and in 1918 of hygiene. His main fields of research were bacteriology and tuberculosis.
