Biography of Antoni Lesniowski

Antoni Lesniowski studied in Warsaw, obtained his doctorate in 1890, worked in the hospitals from 1890 to 1919, and in 1919 became professor of surgery at Warsaw. His works concern the influence of operations on the organism, postoperative acidosis, surgery of the urinary tract, the gastrointestinal apparatus, etc.

Antoni Lesniowski was dean of the medical faculty in Warsaw 1930-1931.
