German anatomist, born November 21, 1873, Wien; died 1951.

Nodular vascular structure with arteriovenous anastomoses in the hypodermis, particularly localized in the end arteries of the hands and feet.

Biography:
Otto Grosser studied in Wien, where he received his doctorate in 1899. He was habilitated for anatomy in 1902, and in 1907 was appointed extraordinary professor at the German University in Prague, becoming ordinarius of anatomy there in 1909. A large part of his work concerns developmental history.
