Biography of William Forsyth Milroy

William Forsyth Milroy studied medicine at the University of Rochester and the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He graduated from the College of Physicians and Surgeons, University of Columbia, in 1882 and had his internship in New York. He commenced practice in Omaha, Nebraska, and in 1885 he was appointed professor of histological pathology at the New University medical college. In 1894 he became professor of clinical medicine at the University of Nebraska. He retired in 1933.
