Italian paediatrician, born April 30, 1919, Palermo, Sicily.
Associated eponyms:
Burgio's pseudodiastrophic dwarfism
A syndrome characterised by short-limb dwarfim, brevicollis, clubfoot, joint contractures and dislocations, cleft palate, and characteristic facies.

Biography:
Burgio is (2004) professor emeritus of paediatrics, University of Pavia.
