Biography of Isaak Abelin

Isaak Abelin attended the University of his native town where he was conferred doctor of medicine in 1910. In 1914, in Bern, he was habilitated for physiology, and in 1927 became extraordinary professor. His work chiefly concerns the fields of nutrition, metabolism, and the thyroid gland.
