William Pepper

American physician, born August 1874; died 1947.

Biography:
The Pepper family occasioned the saying that to get into the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania you had to get out of or into a Pepper pelvis. William Pepper followed his father and grandfather in the position of professor of medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
