Wilfred Payne
English paediatric chemical pathologist, 1894-1978.

Biography:
Wilfrid Payne worked with Reginald Lightwood at the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, London. He was appointed biochemist to this institution in 1926. In 1959 he was a founding member of the Neonatal Society.
